Position Summary:

The Business Services Director will lead the shared service center (SSC) for Reyes Beverage Group. The SSC is responsible for the timely delivery of standardized processes on behalf of finance and their business partners within sales and operations. The group is responsible for centralized accounting functions including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The director will also lead and enable the SSC teams to partner with finance, sales and operations departments throughout the organization to ensure business objectives are met and additional opportunities for centralization and to leverage technology are identified and realized.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Lead the SSC organization and provide strategic guidance and direction to the organization. Play an integral part in crafting the vision and strategic objectives for the SSC organization.
  • Build and develop the SSC’s partnership with other key functions, including sales and operations. Define and execute service level agreements with operating business units.
  • Develop the shared service center into a continuous improvement environment that drives process improvement and people development.
  • Evaluate technology solutions and identify opportunities to better leverage those solutions or apply new/different technology to improve the SSC’s effectiveness and drive business outcomes.
  • Establish key metrics and reporting methods; utilize goal/objective setting and measurement to simplify processes, drive improvement and efficiency. Define, monitor, and report daily, weekly and monthly statistics/KPIs for quality and productivity and benchmarking against similar organizations.
  • Assess, document, and implement improvements to the company's internal control environment and policies and procedures.
  • Develop process maps and remain abreast of best practices and trends relevant to shared services and related technologies.
  • Identify and pursue improvement and/or automation opportunities to reduce unnecessary, redundant, or manual work.
  • Identify core skills, capabilities and engagement required to enable the team’s success. Identify, recruit and onboard new team members in a manner that creates engagement and ensures timely acclimation to the organization and productivity in role.
  • Create and foster an environment and culture that emphasizes customer service excellence, maximizes individual contributions, fosters potential and values collective results across multiples
  • Establish training programs to achieve consistent process and performance standards across the center.
  • Organize and lead special projects.
  • Assist in acquisition due diligence and integration.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years in accounting finance, or relevant experience, including 6+ years of hands-on management experience in a shared services environment.
  • Business acumen with analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Best practices familiarity and benchmarking capabilities.
  • Prior leadership experience (direct and non-direct).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Supervisory experience: training, coaching, and motivating direct reports.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior use of ERP systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree or CPA.
